What a great find! Richard Nixon refers to Fred Thompson as dumb and later is relieved that the dummy is carrying water for him in the whole Watergate fiasco. Well, I would think this would hurt Thompson, except for the fact that we have elected at least one dumb president since that time and he's still in office.

Curious how the Left has never believed a single thing that Dick Nixon has ever said. Until now...
I believe he (Nixon) did a great job establishing the EPA, OSHA, and establishing diplomatic relations with China. It was the deceit and secrecy that I have a problem with. It happens to be one of the same problems I have with the current occupant of the White House.
Other than Watergate, Nixon got a lot of things right, including his assessment of Fred Thompson.
